This story was told by my grandfather to my father. My father in turn told me. I do not know who wrote the story but applies to the way the people in the Govt are handling #inflation or #petrolprices

Here it goes:
There was a man in a village, who had to go to a nearby town on some errand. There he saw a red colored fruit which he could not recognize. He asked some one and was told that the fruit is called an apple. The word "APPLE" was registered in his mind.

Next he saw a pigeon. Once again he could not make out what it was. Once again he asked some one and was told that this thing is called a pigeon. The word "PIGEON" was registered in his mind.

A few days later he saw an elephant. The huge animal was something new to him. He checked again with people around and was told that it is an elephant. The word "ELEPHANT" was registered in his mind.

Upon return to his village he became a respectable man on account of being TOWN-RETURNED

Then one day the crop in the village got infested with some new kind of insects. The village elders requested the TOWN-RETURNED wise man to help them know what this new thing in the crop was.

The man went to the fields, took one of the insects on his palm. inspected up, down, sideways and came up with the declaration :

See, my fellow villagers! This is most probably an APPLE. But there is some likely-hood f its being a PIGEON also. Although the possibility of its being an ELEPHANT can not be ruled out.

Now replace the villagers with public and the TOWN-RETURNED wise man with our CENTRAL BANK RBI. You will know where we are headed.

That we see dengue everywhere in Delhi should not surprise anyone , nor is there any need to get alarmed.

MCD has always been like that. And why only MCD, almost every Govt Department has always been like that.

Look at the Health Minister - Listing out reasons for the Accumulation of water due to rains. As if we never had any rains in the past 60 years or the Met Deptt did not predict Good Monsoon this time. After hearing him you learn:
1. Rain water gets accumulated everywhere. Heavy rains mean more accumulation.
2. Accumulated water leads to breeding of mosquitos.
You are that much wiser after you listen to the HEALTH MINISTER.
He however has NO SOLUTIONS to the issue.

Check out the MCD Officials - Blame CWG. As if OC started building activities just in August. What about the MCD sites breeding mosquitos. I am sure your neighborhood too has some mosquito breeding points created by MCD and not OC.

MCD too adds to your knowledge - water must have stayed stagnant for 7 days for the mosquitos to breed. Now, water accumulates somewhere and MCD needs a dengue patient to certify that water in some area has accumulated for more than 7 days.

Just check out the neighborhoods of these ministers, do they have water accumulation issues - 7 days is too much - they would take 7 minutes to suspend an official if they see a mosquito in their area. How come MCD does not get away with just giving reasons for mosquito breeding to these ministers as well.

The Nuclear Liability Bill is all designed to protect the suppliers of equipments just the way Bhopal Tragedy. How blatant can the politicians get?

And God forbid, when the tragedy hits, you will find these very politicians raising funds from us by way of donations and if that does not work, tax us , by imposing surcharges.

DONOT SUPPORT THEM
